This is my first CAL. Working in ends isn't my favorite thing to do, either, but I've been doing a lot of it lately on things I've made for my grandchildren. So I've at least gotten used to it. I'm excited about doing the CAL and anxious to get started. My yarn arrived this week!

This is my first CAL and so looking forward to it. I have to use up some stash yarn so I hope it turns out ok. I'm using light gray, meduim gray, maroon, navy and sage green. I make up blankets for charity and wanted to use gender neutral tones.

Hi I was wondering what the final measurement of the afghan will be? as i would like to purchase more yarn to maybe repeat a few more of the squares to make it larger if needed.

Just ordered my yarn! Can't wait for it to arrive. I participated in last years CAL, and it was so much fun that I have to do it again

Yeah! I received my yarn today. This is my first CAL and my first time doing anything like this. I didn't even know this existed until I received my newsletter. I am so excited that this is going to be given in small doses because I plan on working on this during my lunch hour at work. Hoping I can keep up! Looking forward to the 15th!

I just realized that I have never shared my colors. I will be using Stone Brown as the main color, with Sun Drift, Willow, Cadet, and Incense. I am making this as a wedding present for my oldest daughter. She helped pick out the colors.
