Favorite waves Blanket-past perfect

Please Help. Have started this project 5 times. I keep ending up with more sc on row 3 instead of the 6 sc needed. One side of project is straight but other side is progressively indented. Also the bobbles are not lining up. I think the problem is row 2 : 1 sc in each st or ch-1 sp. Thank you

Did you ever get a solution to your problem? If not maybe you could link the pattern and let everyone take a look to see if we can put our heads together.

She is referring to the "Favorite Waves blanket, which is in the Bernat Past Perfect Book.

I want to help you with this but I would need to see the pattern and it's not a free pattern. I love the blanket! I hope you have figured it out by now.

Hi
I have talked to the designer about this pattern, she has added this additional information to the 2nd row, hope this helps.

Original instructions - 2nd row : Ch1. 1 sc in each st or ch-1 sp to end of row. Turn.

There are enough sts for every odd row.

Additional - 2nd row: Ch 1. *1 sc in each of next 3 sts (dc2tog). (1 sc in next st (ch-1 sp). 1 sc in next st (bobble))5 times. 1 sc in next st (ch-1 sp). 1 sc in each of next 3 sts (dc2tog).
