Read the Color Tutorial, about how to choose the right colors for your decor.

Then, go to My Palette, to choose your shades!

When you get your yarn, make a gauge swatch, to be sure you're spot on for the right size blanket.

I just bought the yarn at Michaels in Canada (Ontario) two balls for $8, they would not let me use a coupon because the yarn was on sale :(

this is a first for me! after 'mastering' coasters and a simple dishcloth, I decided that I wanted a challenge. The email came about this KAL and I thought why not? I love that it's supposed to be for everyone, and I'm looking forward to giving this as a gift to my son and future daughter in law when they get married this fall. I should have it done by then, lol. Bought the yarn and needles yesterday :)

Welcome to all of you! :hellogoodbye:

I think it's wonderful to see how many newcomers there are to our project. We are going to have so much fun making our blankets together! ;)

I live in Canada too and noticed the yarn on sale at Michaels' - BUT the sale online [here on the Bernat site] purchasing directly from Bernat was a good deal for me- I got the colours I wanted and will have it delivered to my door for just a few bucks, very convenient for this time of year! :D
