Then I looked closely at it, and compared it to the pattern. I used the wrong chart for my yoke! Ack!

So, I've unravelled the yoke, and I'm re-knitting it now, so I can wear it properly next Christmas. ;)

Glad to see someone else does this :bravo: Hubby, several friends and family think I'm crazy. They say no one else will know. But I do

I am just too particular sometimes. Then other times, I just let things slide, and learn to live with it. But THIS time, it was absolutely NECESSARY to re-knit that yoke. It was so tight, I could hardly breathe!

I had knit the yoke, using the CHILD SIZE chart!

Thanks! :cloud9:

Are you talking about the baby blanket I made during the last CAL?
While everyone else made full size crochet blankets with Bernat Softee Chunky, I made a baby blanket with Bernat Baby Coordinates Chunky. I just made less squares, and arranged them the way I wanted. I used the colors Comfy Blue, White, Snuggly Sprite, Toasty Teal, and Cosy Rosy. I was a beginning crocheter when the Mystery CAL started, and by the end, I was doing some intermediate techniques! Participating in that CAL made me fall in love with crochet. :inlove:

What's the difficulty level knitting with Twist & Twirl yarn? The scarf looks beautiful and I would love to do one for my grandaughter.I'll have to check with Michaels and see if they carry that yarn. :knit:

Oh, it's very easy, just takes some time to get used to the way mesh yarn behaves. You will find several videos online about how to knit with ruffle yarn.

I'm more of a crocheter than a knitter so I was wondering if this yarn was crochetable. I came across several different brands of this type of yarn and think it's beautiful, but am reluctant to purchase any if I can't crochet with it. I guess a scarf wouldn't be too terribly difficult if I had to knit, but I prefer crochet personally.

Yes, it's crochetable. You'll find videos online for crocheting with ruffle yarn. Just buy a skein, and give it a try. If you don't care for it, you can give it to a knitting friend.

I decided to post a few more photos of Bernat projects I have made since 2009, when I started blogging for the company. I have learned SO MUCH about knitting and crochet since then!

I've also made the 2010 Mystery Blanket (in baby size), a Christmas sweater, a thick cowl with Fab Faux, and another cowl with Really Big. I've already mentioned those earlier. Right now, I'm working on a ruffled scarf, using Twist and Twirl, and a hat or cowl with Colorama (I can't decide which pattern I like better with that yarn.) I also have enough Satin Sparkle to make a vest, but I haven't started that one yet.

All of your projects look so nice and finished but I especially love your leaf pullover, that is a beautiful pattern. I just do not have the confidence I guess it is, to learn to knit. I guess I should at least watch the KAL videos and see if it is something I might could get the hang of. You are so lucky you are "bi-crafty" and can do both so well!
