Take your time, my friend. The clues will be available for quite some time. No need to feel rushed or pressured. I'm a slow needleworker myself, so I'll probably be one of the last ones to finish their blanket. ;)

I'm am not a fast knitter - I am amazed when I watch a video for something that I want to learn and the knitter's just fly through everything. I am in awe.

Hello from Québec :hellogoodbye:

This is my first online knitting project and forum experience. I love to knit :knit:
and am looking forward to the encouragement to keep me going.

New to Bernat site but discovered it when I was knitting scarves furiously with the FabFaux yarn for holiday gifts for all the women and girls on my husband's side of the family. They were a big hit! :cloud9:

I Finally got my colour choice made and yarn ordered today and hope I will be able to begin on February 15!

Anyone else out there from the National Capital region?

I LOVE that Bernat Fab Faux yarn! :inlove: I made a cowl with it, and get compliments whenever I wear it.

Hi Everyone,

This is my first KAL and, like others, my first time knitting an afghan! I'm really looking forward to this project. I'm knitting the afghan for my sister to go on her new sofa. I chose colors from the Beautiful Things palette - so fitting for her. I'm looking forward to getting to know you! :-)

Blessings,

I am also new to KAL, I did the mystery CAL in 2010, that was fun and my first true afghan. Now this should also be fun. I lucked out and found the Waverly yarn in a JoAnn's that was moving so they had everything marked way down. Got more than I needed but I still saved :) It figures, I did not stay with any group of colors, it runs the gammit, but they looked good laid out on the floor of the store. Lookinf forward to starting :knit:

Hi! :hellogoodbye: This is all very new to me too. I am an experienced knitter, but have never done a KAL or forum. :scared: But I'm very excited about doing the Mystery KAL and look forward to being part of the discussions. I'm really needing something new to do and something to look forward to. So not knowing now what the finished project will look like and getting just one clue a week will be fun! :D

OMG!!!! I sure hope you picked that yarn up, brushed it off and gave it a loving squeeze to say "Sorry I had to put you on a dirty public floor". If not, we may have to report you for yarn abuse. :hrmm:
