Knit - Valentine Monster & Heart KAL

While I'm waiting for our KAL/CAL to start, I've decided to make a fun, quick project for Valentine's Day.

Bernat's "Monster for Your Love" is just the thing.


Would anyone like to join me in making this cute little monster? It can be our KAL before the actual KAL.

I'm thinking of making my monster a different color, but will make the heart either red or pink.

I just found some Lavender Bernat Satin in my stash, leftover from when I knit the Lace Edge Cardigan for the Bernat Blog in 2010.

I think that color will work well for the monster.

Yes.....i HATE THAT STITCH!!
And we are gonna have to do it a lot.

Just remember to knit in the BACK of the stitch for that increase.

I started mine too. Up to 24 stitches now.

My poor monster is gonna need a hat, because the top of his head looks awful!

The top of my monster's head look awful too! I just figured I could sew it up at the end. I'm on round 21 but falling asleep now. Goodnight can't wait to see pics.
