Good idea!

I didn't get much further on my liittle monster. Been feeling kinda crummy. Went to the doctor today, and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. So, now I'm taking antibiotics and resting. My monster wil be there for me tonight.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that Shandeh! I hope you feel better soon.
I am enjoying this little project, so glad you suggested it. It's a little out of my comfort level so I'm learning too. And it's a quick one. Earlier today I went to look for my little monster on the couch, and it wasn't there! I was worried because I have a second "little monster" in the form of a little fluffy dog who likes to find new "toys" and take off with them. I thought for sure that when I found my project she would have removed all the stitches because of the 4 double pointed needles, but she didn't thank goodness, so I can carry on where I left off.
:knit: (knitting is kinda fun)
Get well soon!
(anyone else want to make a Valentine monster? I'm using scraps: burgandy for the monster and pink or red for the heart.)

Thanks! :cloud9:
I'm still congested, but not as exhausted as I was. So, I think the antibiotics are working!
The only problem is that now I'm STARVING! Must be a side effect of the medicine. So, now my diet is on hold for a day or two. :?

Oh, I'm so glad you didn't lose your work!
I love the photo....you've gone a long way!

I'll be picking mine up again in about an hour.

I hope that the antibiotics have kicked in and you are feeling better Shandeh!
I am having fun with my monster. It is the first time I have made a knitted toy.
I am also thinking that I would like to make some knitted slippers I saw a basic pattern on Bernat with a pom pom on top. That may be my next project if there is time!

Hi zhanie! Your monster looks really nice so far! :bravo:
I'll bet I know the Bernat slipper pattern you are talking about--it is a Classic :crown: If I'm guessing right, it is the version that is the cast on 35 st, k11, p3 for foot, then 1x1 ribbing for toe? I love making those--I have just learned how to knit a flower (a daisy-type little thing) and that makes a great little decoration too. I'll whip up a pair soon :knit: and post a photo.
I just LOVE :inlove: knitting SO much! Happy knitting to you too!

Glad you are feeling better Shandeh. I know exactly how miserable sinus infections are. I know how to tell when I am truly under the weather--I don't feel able to knit. Thanks for sharing the Little Monster project with us.

Hi mittenmaker!
I have crocheted hundreds of different types of flowers but I havent' knitted one. I would love to see a pic of your knitted flowers and add the same to my slippers when I make them. (a rose would actually be quite cute too)
