I am having a Hysterectomy the week before so I figure I will have lots of time to do them since I will not be able to do anything else! This is my first time participating. I am excited to have something to look forward to after my surgery . I went to Spinrite in Listowel, Ontario yesterday after my Pre Op appointment to get my yarn. All ready to go!

Good luck with your hysterectomy! I had mine a few years ago, and it was quite an experience. It took a LONG time for me to get my energy back, but my quality of life has been very much enhanced. I am glad I had the surgery. I got lots of help on the Hystersisters website. Look it up - you'll be glad you did! That website is the reason I started reading online forums, so it eventually led me here!![]()
Be sure to take your time after your surgery, to let yourself heal completely internally as well as externally. Pace yourself, and don't overdo it. Make sure you have someone at your house to take care of you for a few days afterwards.
