Does anyone know how many squares we will be doing or the measurements of the finished afghan

Finished afghan measurements:
KAL: Approx 45" x 59" [114.5 x 150 cm].
CAL: Approx 46½" x 62" [118 x 152.5 cm].

If you think of the border, I count "only" 24 ...
So, with the 8 of this first clue, whe have 1/3 knitted !

9.5*9.5 equals 90.25 sq. in. 90.25*8 equals 722sq. in., which is .27 of the total 45*59,or 2655 sq. in. It will take 21 plus 9.5*9.5 squares to complete the required area. We have a ways to go.
