Bernat slippers with Flowers

Postby mittenmaker » Tue Feb 07, 2012 3:16 pm

Hi everyone! Here are my slippers I just finished today. They are in Bernat Super Value in Luxury Ombre color, The flowers are a fun, easy touch. A little more girly than I'm used to :geek: The flowers turned out a little smaller than I wanted (I should have used size 8 or 9 needles) so I put two flowers on each slipper.

Thank you kindly, Shandeh! :) I viewed your artwork, the painting and stained glass. Stunning! I love the monster you are making, the purple Satin yarn is so pretty! I am just beginning to work on dpn's. My first project was the doily-style washcloth in Sugar n' Cream yarn. . .I have made three so far. Your work on the monster is an inspiration for me.

I am sorry, lialab! :? Thanks for for the heads-up. I would want full credit for that work, too! You go girl!
What is your cable sweater project like? Color? I am going to attempt cabling soon--I have a pattern for a *simple* cabled handbag. I hope I can handle it! I think I can--knitting has really done wonders for my self-confidence! Again, sorry about the mix-up. . .

No harm done! ;)
I just love knitting cables, it gives me a lot of challenge, the pattern I'm using is Bernat. Here is the link: http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=4097 and no wonder!!! I chose the same color in Super Value. Well it is the color I had in my stash.
I hope it will be finished by february15th. In the meantime :knit: :knit: and have a good day
