Bernat Handicrafter Scrubby

I saw a discussion at Ravelry about this yarn. I can't find anywhere to order it online. Is it a new yarn, limited edition, or discontinued? I would like to obtain several skeins to make new dishcloths for my kitchen. I may try my local Michael's or Hobby Lobby this weekend.

No idea. Might be a new yarn that was supposed to be held until the Spring. :idonno:

Michaels displays a lot of Bernat's new yarns WAY too early, and then they are out of stock when it's the actual release time. I think they just put everything out without looking at the instructions for when it should be displayed. (just guessing here)

Could it be they were discussing making 'scrubbies' using Bernat Handicrafter Cotton?
Handicrafter Cotton is the only yarn I will use for making dishcloths and other utility items. Mainly dishcloths. I don't Ravelry, so no idea of what was said.

No, it's an actual yarn. I saw a photo of it. I'll save it to my computer, and post it here.

Here it is......

Yeah, that's the pic. I hope Jen or Kaleigh will have more info on Monday. I am drooling over the possibilities.

What are you thinking of making rainbow? I know that some people make scrubbies out of net material that has been cut in strips to make "wool".

I need new dishcloths for my kitchen. I just made a crocheted preemie blanket that I think would make a great pattern with size modifications. I saw this yarn and thought it would be perfect. I sure hope I can get some.

It's a brand new product - both in terms of what it is, and that it's recently released. If you get your hands on some, let us know what you think! We'd love to hear some feedback :)

Great to hear Kaleigh, I will definately make a run out to the store today and look. I hope I can find some. Otherwise, I will just have to wait until it is up in your store online.

I saw it at my local (Canadian) Michael's this week. They had handicrafter on sale, but it is not the same price as the regular. I will wait till it's on Sale to give it a try!
