Me too! I keep moving the yarn around just to touch it! Am sorting through some French patterns and English magazines and if I can't wait I might have to start an accessory piece like a cushion or something to go with it - but then I 'll need more yarn!!!!! :hrmm:

This is what I might have to make to go with the afghan! It's just a square with some Beads knitted in.

Don't you just love the Photobucket app? So easy to use. Your pics are great and the colors look amazingly close to the brick shades.

Thanks! My husband thinks there's more yarn coming into the living room than going out these days (2 afghan projets)...
He can't wait until it's transformed into something useful. I did all those scarves in front of the TV for Christmas for all the girls on his side of the family, so he's seeing a lot of yarn these days. I'll have to make something for him now. Maybe he'll like this afghan!

Yes! Thanks for the suggestion!
I am able to work entirely from my iPad! :cloud9:
In only about 5 clicks!
This is a good thing because in my household of one tech-y hubby and 3 teenagers who have rigged up the flat screen TV to also be the computer monitor, I am usually at the bottom of the computer time list. They gave me the iPad for Mother's Day and I've been learning how to operate differently ever since.

Hi all from way Down Under. I too am an experienced knitter but new to KAL. I have actually been really uninspired with knitting lately and am glad to have stumbled across this website as the KAL has peeked my interest. Unfortunately I am still waiting for the wool I ordered a few weeks ago but hopefully it will arrive soon. (Australia post doesn't understand that the start date is rapidly approaching :)!!!!!!!).
Anyway whatever time I start I am looking forward to knitting along with everyone and reading about how you all are progressing

Hey! Welcome to the mystery KAL!! I'm glad you found this site too and decided to join us! I don't have all my yarn yet! When I was at Joann's I got 3 of the colors I wanted and had to order the other 2 since they didn't have them in stock. So...I'm still waiting! They just don't realize how anxious I am to have it!! I hope you get yours in time too!! I'm really looking forward to this!

Hi all,
I just finished a baby blanket that I have been working on since October. I meant to get it done much sooner, since the baby is now 4 months old, but life got in the way. I pushed myself last night to finish so that I would have a fresh start for this project. I have all my yarn (was lucky enough to get it a few weeks ago), so I am anxiously awaiting the start :knit:
Let's get going!
