Can't wait. I wonder how many are going to set their alarms for 10:00 a.m. tomorrows.

My needles and wool are getting impatient.

Hey Newbie from down under. Glad you're joining the rest of us experienced knitters/newbie KALers. What colors did you choose? I chose yarns from three different themes but I think they're beautiful. Don't know how I was lucky enough to chose such nice colors! I did my swatch and he yarn knits up so nicely. My knitting was a little bit over the guage, so I'll knit just a tad more tightly. Perhaps I should go to smaller needles and stay with my looser knitting. Anyone have any suggestions? I came up with 18-1/4 st X 24-3/8 rows per 4 inches. Am I way off.

The yarn is very even and came out with a very even stitch pattern. However, for just that amount of yarn for the swatch, I already encountered a knot for joined yarn. However, at this price point, I guess it's to be expected.

I'm excited and waiting with anticipation toward tomorrow's clue. I can't wait to start. Keep in touch all and so will I. I just have to learn how to share my samples.

Till next time, have fun all!

Nancy

Can anyone tell me how to insert smilies?

Be sure you reply by clicking "Post Reply" instead of "Quick Reply".
The post reply button is teal colored, and off to the left, at the top and bottom of each discussion.

If you click that button, you will get a larger screen to type in your message, and you'll see all the Smilies off to the right of your entry screen. When you want to use a smilie, just click it! ;)

Is that when the first clue will be posted? 10 am - is it EST? I'm on the west coast so I guess that will be 8 am? or maybe 7?
Looking forward to getting it & starting the project!
