Crochet-Along Clue 1

YAY!!! I am at work and couldn't resist bringing my yarn along so I can try starting at lunch!

I have to remember for the next clue next week!!!

FYI: This did not print out very well on a laser printer. I do not have a colour printer, so I need this in B&W. I cannot read it on paper, so will have to use my screen to work on the clue. I am so disappointed! But I am going to get to work on it right now! I won't let a little thing like printed copy stop me (but it might come in handy next week for you to know this)

I seriously thought about bringing my yarn to work today. I have a long webinar to listen to and I thought I could make good progress on a square while watching that but I wasn't sure what colors would be needed and I didn't have room for all 5. Oh well, I'll start while dinner is in the oven. Can't wait!

Anyhow, first real question,
Will we end up with 12 squares in total for this?
9 made with our main colour and then 1 each of the next 3 colours?

I am still waiting for my yarn to arrive. I think I ordered it online from Joann's on Saturday and it still says they are processing my order. I do hope I get it before the next clue comes out. Drats!!
