Q about instructions for Roving Cold Front pattern #530197

Hi, I'm having trouble interpreting part of the instructions for the following:
ISBN #978-1-897575-49-9
Bernat roving cold front pattern book 530197
1st pattern: Cable Cape

The cable panel pattern is based on 9 stitches, 8 rows. That's fine. But when incorporating that pattern into the instructions for "Back", it only gives instructions to the 7th row. No instructions are given for the last 2 rows.

Once you have completed the 7 rows listed in the pattern, you keep repeating the beging and end sts of the last 2 rows and insert the correct row of the cable pattern.

Last 2 rows read:
6th row: K1. P1. Work 5th row Cable Panel Pat. P1. K5.
7th row: As 1st row: K6. P9. K2.

The 8th row would read:
8th row: K1. P1. Work 7th row Cable Panel Pat. P1. K5.
9th row: As 1st row: K6. P9. K2.

From now on the (RS) right side rows will start with: K1. P1. Work appropriate row of Cable Panel Pat. P1. K5. ---- you will need to keep track of which row of the cable panel you are working on.
The (WS) wrong side rows will read: K6. P9. K2.
