This is my first CAL and I'm excited!!! I'm glad I have my wonderful friend Lisa to help. I'm kinda new at this, so it is a great learning experience!!! I could expand my crocheting to other than just what I know!!!

MY first CAL Have had the yarn for over a month and was anxious to start. I haven't completed all the motifs yet, but am on the way. Have fun all and I'm glad there is a place to come if I get stumped.

I've only been crocheting for several years but I find it helpful to put a marker in the chain I am supposed to join with so I am not trying to figure out where I am. Thought this might help some others too. Now back to fighting with the cats over my yarn, or their yarn if you ask them!

I am also a first timer. I 've known how to knit since I was a teenager. My 25 y/o daughter just taught me to Crochet. I adore it! More enjoyable than knitting and goes quicker too. I made 3 of the squares last night and can't wait to get home and do more tonight. Thank you all for your tips and encouragement

Another first time CAL (or anything along for that matter). Used to crochet a lot when I was a kid and just lately picked it back up as a time killer while taking care of my father who has Alzheimer's. I mixed and matched earth tone and green colors and somewhere along the line had a blonde moment and got an extra color so now have to find a project for two skeins of Moss. The first clue went fast and while I'm making the squares I'm thinking these would make good coasters....
