How do you knit, purl, and knit all in the first stitch you cast on?? I know how to knit front and back of a stitch, but this only gives two stitches.

I'm very upset. I am worried that I spent a good amount of money on all this yarn and I won't be able to make the afghan. I'm already so confused, despite everyone giving guidance in this thread. I have never knit anything where you don't first cast on the first row. I'm lost.

Kayleigh,
I am counting increases starting with row 7. When I add two stitches at row 7, that gives me 9 stitches. If I add two increased stitches on every odd numbered row starting with row 7, I only need to repeat rows 5 and 6 a total of 24 Times to reach 55 stitches, not 26 Times as clue 1 indicates. Which is the correct number to have before changing colour? 55 or 59 stitches? 24 or 26 rows?

Working from corner to corner is simply a different technique. What exactly are you having issues with?

Here's a YouTube video for how to knit, purl, knit into one stitch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pP_UHylNAMQ

... Eep! When I tested I counted to 55 stitches. I'm talking with the designer right now and will get an answer to you ASAP.

EDIT: Only repeat 24 times. This will get you the 55 stitches. The PDF and HTML are being changed as I type.

I have read the directions for the first block and I am disappointed. It will look like the dishcloths I have made.
