The colors on the chart are just to make it easier to see the stitches

I ask because the main info page for the CAL now has the main color listed as (C) not (MC) like when it was first announced back in Jan. Is this just a typo or did I buy the wrong amounts of yarn?

I have the same question... :knit:

So I have 6 squares made and they are measuring about 4 1/4 inches. With blocking it should be the 4 1/2 inches perfectly! I am really digging the color choices I made! The bitter rose looks sooo much better once it is actually worked with and it was beautiful to begin with! My little princess is going to love coming home from the hospital wrapped up in this! I just did the math and the 15 weeks this project is suppose to take I will only have 7 weeks of my pregnancy left when we are all done! It is completely perfect timing! I am SO EXCITED!!!! :cloud9:

Clue #1 only uses 4 of the colors. You will still need the 5th color for later clues.

The Main Color is still MC. It is listed as MC on the clue.
The KAL/CAL Reference page should say "MC" for the Main Color.

Your amounts for the CAL should be
Main Color (MC): 5 balls
Contrast A: 2 balls
Contrast B: 2 balls
Contrast C: 2 balls
Contrast D: 2 balls

I have the same question... :knit:

Main Color is still (MC)... when I updated that page my backspace must have been sneaky. Fixing it now. use the colors listed on the clue - MC, A, B, and C.

I tried how it was written and then took it out and tried this idea as well. I have to agree, I think this looks better. It makes it look more like they are in the same space like all of the other groups of three. Thanks for the idea! :bravo:

No, but you can use that yarn to crochet the 2010 Mystery Blanket if you want!

I am fairly new to crochet. This may be a stupid question, but what does blocking mean? I can follow the pattern and make the block but is there something to do to it after that?
