Crochet-Along Clue 1

I ordered the gorgeous Town & Country pallette. Obviously, the Stone Brown is the MC, but do we assign our own choices for A, B, C & D? Will it matter in the final product?

Here is the guideline for those colors that was mentioned by Zoe Nemetz, an interior designer with Waverly Fabrics.

So Brown becomes MC, B becomes A, C becomes B, etc.?

Ok so now I am done with this weeks clue. What do I do for the next 6 days???? Should I block the 12 squares that I have completed???

great fun! Just finished my first square in Tibetan red. Notice that on the instructions there is no "turning" instruction - am I right to just go by what is actually written? Usually there is a turning chain - but is this different for squares?

Yeah, no turning chains, because we are constantly going around the center.

When working in rounds (what you referred to as squares) you are correct, there is no turning. You just keep going in one direction.
Wasn't it fun to make! I just love the Tibetan Red!

So glad this is a day off. Have 3 squares made in MC, think I'll change colors and come back to the Antique. Loving how this yarn is working up

I had to think a minute if I wrote that post and didn't remember, Antique is my MC, I also have 3 squares done and was considering switching colours, lol!

MC: Stone Brown
A: Classic Navy
B: Antique
C: Gypsy Gold
D: Tibetan Red

(It said A, B, C, D, E because the colors were listed as Knit-Along colors.)

k, all my morning chores and running done. preschooler fed and getting ready for school. cannot wait to start mine.

I did it, I'm through with my crochet squares, they came out perfectly and I'm very glad with this first result, now I'll swap my hook for needles and start my knit squares

This work thing is really lame. I work to support the stash, but it leaves so little time to actually work with said stash!

But can't wait until I get home tonight!
