Even with a bit of tugging and stretching they don't match. I'm not sure if I should risk running out of yarn and start over with a bigger hook, or just stick with this size and end up with a lapghan instead. :? (Photo Resized by Shandeh)

I just resized your photo. Be sure to resize your future photos, or we will only be able to see the top left corner of your image. You will find several free photo resizing programs on the internet. They work great!

Your squares are lovely. If you continue making squares smaller like this, you won't be able to block them to the same size as the blocking template. But, if you are consistent, you will just create a smaller blanket.

Well....finished my first square finally after miscounting the first time around. When i did my gauge, i found i needed to go to smaller hook (size g), however this square seems a bit small. Should i stick with this size, or go back to H hook? I am new to crocheting and CAL, so any suggestions are welcome :helpme:

Thanks in advance for your help. Hope the photo uploads.

I think your square looks great! When it is blocked, or when you join it at the end of the CAL, it will open up the crochet stitches, to show the detail of the design.

Help! Could someone please tell me what the measurements for the template is? The one I printed looks way too big to me. Thanks!

I'm a bit of an over achiever...Image

I used Loops and Threads Yarn in Fern, Cadet, Butterscotch, and Aqua. My other color is white for this afghan.
