these squares aren't particularly directional, are they? i mean, if i accidentally started with Color C instead of Color B (or happened to change my mind about which was which), will it be ok as long as i do each of the squares the same way?

I too can't wait to get home from work. I printed the clue this morning. I'm going to get out of here now, hit the tollway, and go home and knit! The cat really likes it when I sit there an knit.

Looks like everyone is having fun and I get the benefit of learning from you all before I start. Thanks!!

I had the same thing happen. I fixed it by selecting "actual size" rather than "fit" on the size options in the print menu.

Just be sure to write down what you use for B, and what you use for C. You will need to keep the colors consistent throughout the KAL.

Anywhere on the right side. I just tied my scrap yarn to a visible stitch in the middle of a row. The scrap was Butter and I was knitting with Porcelain Red, so when I was on a side where I saw the Butter scrap hanging down I knew I could increase.

Since we have such a long tail at the beginning I've just used carried it up the right side and looped it around a stitch every few rows.

This video will show how to do row 1. You will be increasing that one stitch into 3 stitches.

I can't find a reference to whether or not it makes a difference as to which color you choose for B, C, D other than they are the 3 skein colors. Does it matter which color should be "B" , "C" or "D"? :knit: :knit: :idonno:
