Most printers are set for "fit to page", so your document will include everything from the computer document on your page. But you need to print out the Bernat Blocking Templates as "actual size".

In this photo, I have shown both examples of a printing test I did in my home.
The one on the left was what I originally printed from the document. I didn't realize it was set for "fit to page". The one on the right is the one I printed tonight, after changing my printer settings to "actual size".

The actual size template on the right measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". This is what the pattern calls for in Clue #1.
The "fit to page" template on the left measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4". Too small for our CAL.
