I've chosen almost exactly the same colors! Please be sure you both post pictures and I will too! It will be fun to see how they turn out differently even with the same color schemes! :hellogoodbye:

i posted a picture of my first square over in the spoiler thread... can't wait to see how yours looks, too!

You'll be doing 2 increases on each of the increase rows. Each of those increase rows is followed by a row of just knit stitches. So, you'll be doing 48 rows....every other row adds 2 more stitches.

Re: Knit-Along Clue 1 ERROR

Postby pegburke4 » Thu Feb 16, 2012 12:14 am

Hi there, Any chance you Bernat folks could email your mailing list to tell them that the original knit clue 1 had an error in it, and they should download it again? Not everyone is going to search this forum (or check the download without being told to) to find out there's an error, and if they downloaded it this morning (as I did) and don't get to it for a while, they might not be able to find the corrected pattern.

Thanks.

Is this going to get any harder as we go along.

How many weeks will this take?

The first clue is always the easiest. The following clues will introduce other stitches.

The KAL will last until April. 15 weeks. But there will not be 15 clues.
That's all I know! :)

I tried a KAL last year, or year before, and never did finish...life kinda got in the way. But this time I am determined. I even found the yarn from before. It's Bernat and I still love the colors. Mine will be a little different than everyone elses but I think it will still work ok with the instructions. I love the mystery of not knowing what it looks like until it appears, it makes it seem almost like magic! lol (ok maybe I watch too much syfy channel  )

i just want to confirm since i'm so sleepy .. but when we finish this week's clue, we should have 8 squares total, 4 in colors B & C and 4 in colors B & D .. and all of the squares should be approx 9.5x9.5 inches.

Thanks and happy knitting.

Wow.. it's going to get harder? Oh dear, maybe I shouldn't have tried this after-all. Just reading the clue made my head spin. lol What with all the psso and k2tog and such. Don't get me wrong. I know what most of the terms and abbreviations are, the psso was a new one that I'm excited to know. However, even though I know what this stuff means, I've never done some of these stitches. I'm kind of feeling like maybe I jumped into the deep end before I was ready! LOL :knit: :reading:  :scared:
