Here's mine! I'm stuck between it looking like ketchup and mustard, or it looking like a Gryffindor scarf :P My other combination looks like a strawberry!

Since I am only an extreme newbie in knitting I have a question. Do both sides look the same? I thought knitting was full of 'v's'? This looks like it is not, unless we are seeing the wrong side.
With how 'slow' it appears even seasoned knitters are going this makes me even more afraid to attempt the knit version! No worries, I would never be able to do this at this time, but if I do change my mind at least I know where to come!
You guys rock! And I do know it is not slow, don't mean to imply that, it is different from crochet so unfair to compare the two. It was just super fast for the crochet clue, under 10 minutes each - still have to tie in the tails though

There are two different basic stitches - the garter stitch, in which you knit every row, and the stocking stitch, in which you alternate knit and purl rows. The "v"s you are thinking about are stocking stitch, which is also what knitting every row in the round gets you. Because we're knitting every stitch flat, we come up with garter stitch.

It's true that this clue is a little slow going, but I promise it isn't like this every week :) While I was testing squares for writing clues, I found both clues 2 and 3 much faster.

Wow, the crispness of the colour connection line is making me want to give this a try. It looks so clean and sharp! I haven't knit in a few years now, and the CAL is probably my biggest craft commitment ever, so I'll be saving all the KAL clues for sure. Good job on your squares!
Clue 1: Easy Peasy
Clue 2: Took a little longer than expected
Clue 3: Nailed it
Clue 4: Had to change pattern to make work
Clue 5: Done. Not too bad.
Clue 6: Way behind.
