Where do you live?

If you feel like talking about something that isn't knit- or crochet-related, feel free to do so here.

I live in West Fenwick Island, Delaware, 3 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean. At this time of the year, it is very quiet.

So close to Lake Erie, I'm so envious! It's so much cleaner than my beloved Lake Ontario.

Hi Everyone,

I'm Debby and I live in Miami, Florida USA. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and moved here 3 years ago. Miami is such a beautiful, tropical place.

Concord, NC (north of Charlotte) and close to Charlotte Motor Speedway.

We have been here since 2009. I was raised in Mt. Vernon, IL. We lived in Gallipolis, OH also (kids were born there).

So where is everyone from?

Postby fun2knit » Thu Feb 16, 2012 7:22 pm

Hi!

I am an avid knitter living in Littleton, Colorado. I moved to CO several months ago from Clinton Twp, MI. I have always wanted to knit an afghan, but the time investment seemed daunting. I like that this KAL breaks it down into manageable, small pieces and I will end up with a beautiful whole afghan at the end!

It is fun to see the international knitters here! Is the term 'wool' generic for all yarn, or does it mean only 100% wool?

Lots of the international knitters and crocheters call ALL yarn "wool".

I live near Vancouver in Beautiful British Columbia. I call yarn wool too. I think it's because I am originally from Wales.
