mittenmaker wrote:Shandeh, that is a stunning cowl! After looking at the Knit or Knot yarns, I went back to your photo of the Fab Faux cowl and clicked on the link. I really like that yarn too--it seems to be more of a plush type yarn. It looks like you used "Shearling" for your creation?

Thanks! I am so in love with that Fab Faux yarn. I wish I had a BARREL of it, so I could make a blanket for my bed. I would just stay home everyday, and roll around on it, like a cat.

Yes, I used "Shearling". I love how that shade changes color with every stitch. :inlove: NICE!
And whenever I wear that cowl, I feel like a queen. :crown:

Have joined the CAL and KAL...using the new Waverly for the CAL. It is one of the nicest yarns I have worked with!. I certainly will use again for other projects. The softee chunck was nice last year and I love the satin. Never have had any compalints with the Bernat products.

You're quite welcome! Oh, today I picked up Mosaic yarn in Spectrum--for a scarf in Feather and Fan stitch. I love feather and fan (or fan and feather, I can never get that straight) . . . I guess I should just call it by its other name, "Old Shale." I think it will be pretty--I like the blues and greens in the Spectrum color. My only problem with Mosaic is. . .choosing a color!! :helpme: They are all so pretty!! :cloud9:

I LOVE Mosaic yarn! I have a bunch of it in "Daydream", which I plan on using to make a top.
(By the way, I call that design you mentioned "Feather and Fan".)

Shadeh, I love the Daydream colors. What kind of top are you making with it?
I just began work on my feather and fan scarf today. I am very impressed how light and silky Mosaic is, and how nice it is to work with!
