I am on the 2nd half of the diagonal and I had 8 stitches left. I was like, "wait a minute - it should be an odd number". Needless to say I had to take out my stitches. I finally found it some 30 stitches later.

Post a photo of your square and we'll see what can be done :D

I frogged it - I will try again and see if this time it looks better - if not I will post. Thanks

:tears: Ugh, even though I am happy with how the squares came out and I did the gauge test prior to clue one and was dead on, my squares are measuring 8.5 x 8.5. I guess since I am consistent, I could just do a smaller blanket. I have to think about it. I can't tear these out since I will run out of yarn and being currently unemployed think it's indulgent to buy more yarn.
Well you can see my "mini" squares.

Marathon Al , I'm with you. My squares are too big, but I am going to just keep on going. Enjoy the process. And the blanket WILL be beautiful. :D Your squares look lovely btw.

MarathonAL,

I too did a gauge prior to starting and was dead on with my swatch. However, my squares are 9" x 9". I'm going continue with it because I am knitting consistent and maybe I'll have enough yarn left over to make a matching pillow or two!

I really like the two tone- grey and is it black or a darker grey? I love it!

Thank you! The darker color is the Classic Navy.

I am halfway through my second square! My first one is the most perfect thing I knit! And it's exactly 9.5x9.5 yay! I went out to Michael's and bought more yarn on clearance for 2.49 for the CAL. I will do that when I finish the KAL. I hope to post pics soon. I have to go back and read how to!!
Happy Knitting!!!!
