22 year old baby blanket knitted eyelet

I started a baby blanket for my daughter 22 years ago and would actually like to finish it for her baby. I have not seen a blanket like it and have unfortunately lost the pattern. It is on sport weight yarn and looks like a diamond shape of eyelets with the top eyelet missing like the shape below. Keep in mind the X are the "holes"

X the rest is just stocking knit stitches with no border. Can some one help me?
