Thank you so much mittenmaker!!!! :cloud9: It was fun to make something I normally wouldn't. I am surprised how quick and easy it was to make for me too. (It may have helped that I had company and more than one mentor here on the forum).

Shandeh! I didn't notice that you are holding your hands the same as your monster. Too funny! lol. Glad you mentioned it. I hope all is well with you.

You're welcome, zhanie! It's nice to be part of this forum. I enjoy it so much. We all need mentors and to support and cheer each other on! I currently am working on a bit of departure for me--I am using my "orphan" yarn to make swatches and then plan to sew them together to make a sampler-type "patchwork" blanket for my dog. It will be a win-win. . .I get to practice some new techniques and stitches, and Mr. Jingles gets a new blanket. It will be a work in progress but I think it will be fun. :knit: :D

Thanks! I found that sweatshirt at the Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair (SAFF) in North Carolina. I go there every year.

:D I'm okay, except for my toothache. I hope to get it taken care of next week.
