My Ginseng Mittens

Postby mittenmaker » Fri Feb 03, 2012 5:46 pm

I knitted these using Bernat Super Value in Ginseng. It is striking color combination and it worked up much pretter than I had anticipated! Only one tiny problem--I made two rights! But they are still fine to wear. I also made a matching headband. The color is very flattering on me :)

Hi lialab and Shandeh! Thanks for giving my mittens some love! They do fit well, even though they are both rights! The colors are so warm! Bernat yarn makes up really nice for mittens! Happy day to you! :hellogoodbye:

Hi twinmommycreations! Thank you! I just love making mittens, and that color warms you up just to look at it. Bernat Super Value makes really nice mittens--soft cuddly yarn and the colors are fun too. I made a cap for my great-niece for Christmas, in BSV "Razzle Dazzle" ? -- Not sure if that''s right, but the yarn was variegated white, magenta, cornflower blue, canary yellow and bright turquoise. Everyone just raved about the color. (The cap was just a simple cap --nothing fancy, made on circular needle, knit every row, which caused the bottom of cap to roll up a little. She liked it--it looked nice on her.)
