Crochet-Along Clue 2: Spoilers and Photos

My motif, along with the start of the second one.
My hubby walked in during my first one and distracted me so much I made several mistakes so put it aside for a few minutes and started the second. Once I got back to the first one I was all set to finish proper!
I also included my one label with how I mark my balls.

O.k. I finished one but as you can see in the picture it is much much smaller then it should be....it's only 9x9 instead of 11x11 I'm using the same hook as the first clue. Should I use a bigger hook for this clue?

Here is my first one, in Porcelain Red. My gauge was a little off this time, it came out about 10.25" instead of 11" I'll go up a hook size for the rest.

I'm really looking forward to doing this one this evening. The pictures posted so far look lovely! I think I'm going to follow someone's idea from the Clue post and slip stitch to beginning of the 4th round instead of fastening off and rejoining. I, too, hate all those end tucks.

Definitely! This motif needs to be much bigger. Go for the bigger hook.

Thanks to all who posted pics already. I like being able to see what it will look like before I complete mine since at times my insecurity sets in that I'm not doing it properly. I like the idea about slip stitching and not fastening off, but I would like to see if it will look just as good as the way the instruction way. If anyone makes one without fastening off Round 3, please post a pic. Happy crocheting today ladies.

I love all of you that were so quick to get a picture up!! I am a visual person, so seeing how it is suppose to look will definitely help me out. I can not wait to start working this clue, <sigh> but first I must finish up my day (work, take care of the kiddos and laundry).
