I blocked mine in the following photo. Someone had asked how others did their blocking and wanted to show a visual of it. I am using a towel here. I placed my template on it, put pins all around, removed the template, then squirted the towel with some water, put the motif down and wiggled it onto the pins, sprayed the whole thing down again and placed the whole thing on a heat register that also has the sun shining down on it to wait for it to all dry.
Poor man's way was to use a towel. I hate using my ironing board for anything, including ironing! :stop:

Here is what I have gotten done so far in Clue #2.

CAL Clue #2 Chart & Template by Shandeh, on Flickr

I have printed out my clue, and printed the chart on the back.
I have printed out my template 4 times (after checking to make sure my printer settings are "actual size"), and cut them all out and pasted them together on the back of a piece of Christmas Penguins wrapping paper.

My yarn and hook are waiting for me in the living room. I just need to STEP AWAY FROM THE FORUM, so I can actually get to work on the clue! :)

I agree, once 5th round was right it was smooth sailing! Flickr is STILL telling me it is having technical difficulties so no photos yet. I love all the great color combos. . . . . have fun everyone :cloud9: :cloud9:

Weird! I've been using it all day, without a problem.

Here's a photo I took this morning, uploaded to Flickr, and copied the BB code here.

If you have the photo on your computer you should not need to upload anywhere else to upload a photo here.

So pretty. :) I am so tempted to do this in multiple colours (have the flower in the middle stand out more), but I will be good and follow the directions for now. ;) Can't wait to get home (ugh work) and get started!

This is my A color, blue gown. This motif is so pretty! Already looking forward to next Wednesday! I still have to block clue 1... may just wait until I finish this clue and do them at the same time.

Everyone's blocks look fantastic. Just finished my first one, and was pleasantly surprised that it came out the right size, because by round 7 I was sure it was going to be too small. Can't wait for the next step. Now I have to decide what my main color is going to be. Have fun everyone.

So I had to go from a 5.5mm to a 8mm hook to get the right size!!! Now to just do the other 4!!!
