Knit-Along Clue 1: Spoilers and Photos

I had almost finished square 1 last night, but the shape was off so I frogged the whole thing and plan to start again after I finish clue 2 for the CAL. At least I feel competent crocheting - I've never knit on the diagonal before and am pleased with the progress I am personally making, but the skills are just slower in coming. Oh well - time for the next clues!

Here is the only square I have managed to get through so far. I am going to try to do most of my catch-up 2 weekends from now and during Spring Break (after I catch up on my reading) . It's going to be a loooong challenge for me, but I am going to stick with it.

It looks like you did what I did, concentrated on knitting and not blocking right away. I did block 4 of my squares today only because I ran out of pins. Will continue to knit and block as time allows. It works for me!

Hi everybody! I'm a knitter trying to work on my crocheting skills by doing the CAL. I think I'm doing pretty good with it. It isn't taking as much time as I thought it would, Ive got to do one more block for clue 2. I was going to do the CAL and print the KAL clues and do it after I finished the CAL. But I can't stand the wait! Im going to go get the yarn tomorrow after work and try to catch up! I love knitting!!
