First, may I say that this is my first time in a KAL! I'm loving' it!!!!

I received my yarn ate and am frantically Trying to stay on schedule .. I only have 1 block of week one done!!!
Anyway, two questions. First: how important is the gage? I'm very close (within less than 2 stitches). Second: how closely does Bernat calculate the yardage of the yarn? Is it really tight and we will have nothing left ... Or do they allow some 'wiggle room'?
Thanks so much!!
Welcome!
Gauge is very important for the KAL. So, be sure to knit a gauge swatch before you start.
We have a great discussion going about gauge here:

There is a little bit of wiggle room, but if your gauge is making your square too big, you may still run out of yarn. It's always safe to get an extra skein of each color, just in case.....especially since the Waverly yarn is made in dye lots for each color. You can always use your extra yarn to make a matching pillow or two!
