Hi Dianne in Hamilton. I went to Zellers too, but they didn't have all the colours

, so I had to order online. Thanks Bernat website!

I also went to Michaels like some people mentioned, and it was true it was marked half price and as a seasonal item - I got two skeins for $5! But the hitch was that there were only about two or three colours of each family colour available, so I couldn't have got my entire supply there either.
Through it all I have picked up a few extra skeins here and there so I can do some coordinating cushions, etc. later.
My needles need to be 4.5 mm too - it takes me longer to get my blocks done than some of these fine whizzers out there.

It's true though that the second block went faster than the first, and perhaps that will keep going in that direction. I'm going to need some serious motivation to finish 6 more of the same and I'm counting on everyone's posts to keep me going. I'm kinda bad at repetition, which is why I've never done an afghan before!
