I used to knead when my pupils were specially turbulent ....

It's very good to evacuate stress .... almost as knitting or crochetting

At first, I thought you were talking about your EYES.... :hrmm:
I couldn't for the life of me figure out how your eyes could be turbulent.

Then, I realized that you must be talking about STUDENTS!

I hope your bread was yummy! I love homebaked bread. :inlove:

That sounds good. I treated our family to a bread machine before the holidays and we have been enjoying fresh bread that makes itself! ;)

The part where you punch the dough (the recipe even says "pretend it's somebody you're mad at") was especially cathartic :P

That sounds wonderful! Our kitchen is very, very small so we don't really have extra room for any more appliances, but that's okay!

 YES ! I used to take the dough in one hand, and throw it on the table, with a lot of energy .... and it was a pleasure to hear the sound on the table

There are some great ones out there! And it is important to relax your fingers and wrists every now and then. Bending your wrist back and gently pushing your fingers toward the back of the wrist is a great stretch. Rotating your wrists and shoulders is also good. My guild does a lot of stretching since one of our members is older and keeps preaching to us 'youngsters' about carpal tunnel and arthritis.

Here is great place to start http://www.livestrong.com/article/19076 ... -knitters/

GL! I still have 4 to go!

Great article, will definitely use these exercises regularly....
