I'm so excited about this CAL because of how interactive it is. It's so much fun to see what everybody else has done and to know that I'm not alone in wondering if I'm doing it right. I wish we had this forum for the last CAL. Now if only work wasn't getting in the way of my hook time.

  I went up one hook size, from 5 to 5.5 with clue one after 'wasting' yarn on my first attempt to find it was too small; so thinking I would be good to go with 5.5 for clue 2 i now find it's too small for the template too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's happening? Please help :tears: I can't afford to keep 'losing' yarn like this.

You can always re-use the yarn from the squares that are too small.

I didn't tied off my first and second attempt until I was sure I was okay with the size.

I am feeling very afraid. Last night as I worked on Clue 2, on round 5, I got edgy and then to round 6, I gave up and put it down. Maybe I wasn't concentrating as I should have been. The final results all are beautiful. I enjoy the photes of everyones work.

I liked making the cute tiny ones better...
Every time I start one I'm nervous it would come out to small. :scared:

Also, I don't like this picture. but it's the best I got.

Neya, thank you for posting your picture. :bravo: I only have one of clue 2 done, so I wasn't seeing how it might potentially be put together. Awesome!!

I'm sorry you are frustrated. :(
It might be good if you copy and paste the pattern into a document on your computer. Then enlarge the size of the text, so it's easier to read. You could also arrange it in a row by row order, so you can check off each section as you do it. I sometimes have to do that to make it easier to work certain patterns.
