I have 38 on my needle I am painstakingly removing a stitch at a time so I can put the stitches correctly on my needle. The 1st clue was so much easier as you could just knit and not have to pay so much attention to your knitting.
Yeah, those sneaky extra stitches can be a real pain. There are a few ways you can get them by accident.
#1 - At the beginning of a new row, make sure your yarn is down at the front. Don't pull it back, or you will make an extra stitch there.
#2 - You may grab the strand of yarn between stitches by accident, and knit it.
#3 - You might think that you dropped a stitch, so you pick up the strand of yarn between the needles and knit it.
#4 - use your imagination.....there are LOTS of ways to add stitches in knitting!
