I’d love to gift myself with some quality supplies, so I’d love to hear other hook reviews.

I had to stop crocheting when I used the normal sized hooks, because they caused so much pain for me.
Now, I only use hooks with an ergonomic grip, and have no more pain or problems.
I have the
Provo Craft ergonomic set, but had trouble putting the hooks together. I wish they had hooks that clicked in instead of having to screw them in place. And I don't really like the way the metal hooks in that set work with yarn.
I really like the
Clover Soft Touch hooks. They are so comfortable in my hand, and the yarn flows easily on them.
But, my favorite is the
Clover Crochet Lite hooks, with the plastic hook that lights up. The hook is delicate, so it forces me to loosen my grip. I don't want to break the hook! And the lighted tip is so handy. It really helps me see where to do my stitching.
I haven't tried the
Eleggant Hooks yet. They look like they would be comfortable to use, with that egg-shaped grip.
