This clue now (for me ) is in a bigger font, with a space between the rounds, and with the "groups" of clues on different lines. I know this will make it easier for me, even though I have already done two of my blocks.

I love the baby blanket someone has already completed in this pattern. I really like this block and would never have attempted it except for this challenge. So thanks for getting me out of my comfort zone! I thought about putting the flower a different color, but decided to actually follow directions!

I'm actually quite proud that I was able to do this clue! :crown:

I'm proud of you too! Isn't it wonderful when it all finally makes sense, and you have a beautiful motif? I just love how each clue teaches me something new, and creates a lovely design.

It's easy to resize your photo. Just go to one of these free websites, and put your photo in there. It will resize it into several different versions. Just pick one that is about 500 pixels wide, and you'll be set.

I have a very bunched-up flower petal thing going on, not to mention my motifs are way too small!

Does anyone else have the flower petals looking 3-dimensional and kinda bunchie? Or am I crocheting too tightly?

I have heard they are supposed to look 3d, and it is a little stretchy, good luck!!

i've cheated slightly as i'm using old stash - i used 1sc, 1hdc, 3 dc, 1hdc, 1sc; in the space and they look fine!

I am going to ask a silly question, but it has come up with me before. Are we not supposed to turn at the end of each row? I was doing fine until I reached Row 6 and was not ending up on the indicated stitch. I would, however, end up on the correct stitch if I had not turned. I turned at the beginning of every row when I made my motifs.

There are no silly questions--we are all learning new things with every project. Do not turn at all for the clues 1 or 2--they are worked in rounds on the RS of the work. Hope this helps.

I have completed all of Clue 2 including the blocking. I have never blocked anything before but then I have never pieced together an afghan. The blocking video was so helpful.

I have crocheted for years but always picked simple patterns. This CAL is making me try and learn new things which is just what I had hoped.

I love the forum. It has helped me so much with answers to questions before I can ask! :D

Here is my Clue #2 in the MC.

So I finished clue 2 for both of the afghans I am making. :cloud9:
I know I had to adjust to get the gauge, but I am loving the pattern so far, and I am having soooo much fun with this. :crown:
I can't wait until Wednesday!!
