I'm in for KAL.
I'll be ordering my yarns on line. Just to decide in what color I'm going to use for this project.
hope to see more people on line!

I'm eager to start.

KAL from Canada

Postby NSBooklady » Wed Jan 04, 2012 9:36 pm

Just ordered my yarn and can hardly wait to start. This will be my first KAL. Chose colors to match my living room and this will be a lovely addition to cuddle up with on cold winter nights. If it turns out well, I will probably make another for my son but this one is for ME!!

Looking forward to sharing progress reports with everyone else.

Best place to buy yarn for Canadians.

Postby sandyrs » Thu Jan 05, 2012 12:11 am

Hi, I would like to start the 2012 Cal. I was wondering where the best place would be to order the yarn. I live in Nova Scotia Canada. The cheapest I have found seems to be Bernat U.S. even the shipping is cheaper. Does anyone know if you pay Duty on yarn, or if there is a cheaper alternative in Canada. I have checked Mary Maxim.ca and Herrschners.ca

I don't know the answer to that, but I bet that Jen and Kaleigh will, since they live in Canada.
Check back tomorrow, to see their reply.

:hellogoodbye: I may do this but I'm pretty busy knitting things for my daughters' wedding in March.
I would love to knit along with others, that would be fun and keep me consistant as I tend to get distracted easliy. :cloud9:
