reverse single crochet

I'm making a baby hooded sweater and for finishing the boy's version it says do a row of reverse single crochet, instead of crocheting right to left, crochet left to right - I don't know how to even start this?

That's right, do not turn, and crochet your regular single crochet stitches but work from left to right. It is really awkward at first, at least it was for me. It makes the finished edge a little firmer so that it does not stretch so much. So if you get too frustrated you could just do a regular crochet row.

I love the reverse single crochet for edgings. I would recommend finding a youtube video to watch as it really helps to see it done.
