I don't know if it is just my luck or this amazing yarn, but I have now picked up 6 skeins to use. Of those 6, only 2 have I had to deal with yarn snot. The others have had the center end politely sitting there to pull gently and start using. I think it is the great job Bernat did with this yarn. You guys ROCK!!!

I'm rethinking my contrast colour E (Blue Gown) as it's out of the colour palette from the rest of the yarn. Are there any squares that will be done exclusively in E or will E be combined with A, B, and C? I know that it won't be combined with D since clue 2 is using up the rest of D.

I picked the blue since there was a limited selection left at Michael's...but I'm not sure now that it looks good with the rest.

Thoughts?

Hi Sandeh, I'm doing the KAL. If colour E is not going to be a standalone square then I think I'm fine since the blue blends nicely with the red, rose and beige/yellow...but if there are any squares are E only then I don't think it's going to look good. :(

Color E will always be combined with another color in the KAL. There will be no squares with just the color E.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for letting me know Shandeh...I'll keep the blue for now and we'll see how it looks when I get the first square with colour E!

HELP

Postby Zuelema » Mon Feb 27, 2012 10:08 pm

somehow I have mixed up my color sequence

I had to purchase an extra ball of Willow as I had it as my " D " color and ran out as there was only 2 balls.

Now is color "A" 4 balls or is color "E" 4 balls

we do not have a yarn store as such here in town and I made a run into the city today and that store did not have my other colors there so you see why I need to know before we get going on the next clues

thanks in advance to all who answer

So I have loved doing this CAL. In fact I have finished both clues by Saturday and cannot wait until the following Wednesday. Therefore I am thinking of buying yarn to work on 2 at the same time. The one I already have in the works is for my 7 year old. She picked the colors(pinks, see below). I am thinking of the colors below for the 2nd and would like some opinions. What do you think? The first color for both sets is MC and the last is D.

I'm also wondering what the crochet load will be in coming weeks. Is clue 2 representative, or will they get more intensive?
