Jeanbess: Under the Topics, check out the "Locked" topic "One Stop Reference" by Jen and you will find a place to look for almost anything you want to know regarding this CAL. Hope this helps you.

I'm a first timer for a CAL here. I've participated in KAL's in my groups with Ravelry. It's very exciting and you get to meet such wonderful group of ladies!!!

This is my first time joining a CAL and even being a 30 year crocheter, I am learning things. I never learned to use a chart and always crochet from a written pattern but this is making it easy for me to use both and concentrate on the chart. I start with the pattern and move to the chart when the pattern is established. I also usually don't work with motifs much so now I have to, without having to make the same one 50 times. It is also nice to have other crocheters working on the same pattern. Thanks Bernat.

I'm with KAL. I'm hlf way with the # 8 blk of clue #1. Also starting my first blk of #2 clue. Also printing out the CAL clues to do later. I did the CAL last yr and color choice was perfect. Afghan turned out beautiful and instructions were easy to follow. I love the Waverly yarn we're using for our KAL. My friends were surprised at the finished blks. They kept asking if they were hand knit or machine. I'm convinced yarn makes all the difference. I'd like to try all of the Bernat yarns.

I saw this thread and figured this is where I should post.

I'm new here and I joined up for the Crcohet-along...I had received an email about a month ago after I had signed into Bernat to view patterns. I am in love! :)

I have crocheted on and off for just over 14 years...self taught when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter. :knit:

Anyway..I recently began redoing my living room and I have loved a certain Waverly fabric which my hubby bought me so I can make my valence and some matching throw pillows...and then I find out there is Waverly colored Bernat yarn..OH THE JOYS! :bravo:

I have never made an afghan...always wanted to but I preferred the smaller projects with the quick satisfaction...but when I saw a mystery afghan with weekly clues...I knew I wanted to do it!

So I am working on week 2 clue now and it's so pretty... :cloud9: I keep daydreaming of how my friends and family will be amazed at my gorgeous afghan that matches my valence.

I am so happy to be here. :)

If this one is as great as the last one in 2010, it will just keep getting better--I soooooo look forward to Wednesdays. Happy crocheting!!!
