How is everyone else doing? I really want to stay current on the clues ;)

I was able to do all of clue #1 in a couple of days but clue #2 is posing more of a time challenge. I am also having reoccurring problems with my thumbs which I hope doesn't mean that I am going to have to put it all aside for a long while. I am definitely falling behind - sigh.

On the 2010 CAL, I found that I was finishing the clues too quickly and needed to do something else so I started a second CAL. That was the week before the mitred squares came out--it took me three weeks to get all of those done and blocked to the correct size. I have learned my lesson about starting a second one until I see how the first works. I am spending my free time on stash yarn baby blankets.

Yep!! Two!!! First clue was so speedy and had me anxious for the remainder of the week to pass that I just had to start another. As with most of you I had absolutely no problem getting enough from my stash to pick up a 2nd "colorway" to start &am so pleased that I did. Both will probably find a home elsewhere as I seldom keep what I create. The joy is in the making...LOL of course w/the 2nd the Colors r a little weird but it is m  ine

Sorry to hear you're having problems. I definitely felt it in my wrist last night after crocheting for most of the day. Hope you are able to catch up. If not, just finish at your own pace ;)

I definitely find joy in the process and even feel a bit sad when I'm done. But I always have the next project started in my head, so I'm never without something to keep my hands busy :cloud9:

I have been keeping up. I'm enjoying the waverly yarn and pattern so much I picked up yarn for a 3rd one. Don't know if I will try working on it while doing the other 2 or once I am completed. I do know that I will have an awesome start on Xmas this year for once :)

I'm doing the CAL and the KAL.

The crochet goes fast, and the knitting is going very slow. :knit:

But will keep working on it!

Didn't they say in an earlier post that there will be "catch-up" weeks? That should help with the stress of trying to keep up but create the stress of no new clue that week. My hands go to sleep while crocheting so I am having to wear my wrist braces at night--that does help.

I have been tempted to buy for a third too!!!
I love the pattern, I have always wanted to try a hexagon or octagon shape!
If I do buy for a third, I will make it after these, and of course I will have to hide the yarn from my husband.
He may start looking for a 12 step program for yarn-a-holics!

I have 9 yarn storage boxes under a high iron bed and another 3 in a closet. There is not such thing as too much yarn. I understand about hiding yarn!!!
