Knit-Along Clue 2

I was watching a bunch of videos, and for the most part they usually are right handed/English style, so I have had to adapt to my left handed/Continental style. I think all my squares and stitches end up looking like everyone else posted, but I am pretty sure I just discovered I am doing some of my stitches back wards! Should I need to worry about trying to correct my stitch in the future or if it looks all right, is it all right?
I think I am pulling my purl stitch in the opposite of what it should be. It is really hard to tell for certain.
Advice anyone?

I would recommend watching Continental videos on YouTube for the stitches you need for our blankets. If you can't find them, you could always ask other Continental knitters here in the forum for advice.

Have now finished the squares for clue 2.
I feel that I am a bit slower than so many others, but at least am getting them done.
Love that stretchy rib stitch, it would make a lovely winter hat.

Congratulations to everyone who has finished all their squares for Clue 2!!

According to the pattern, the rows you knit across are on the right side. This is the side with the "bumpy" ribbing. The rows with the K1B are the wrong side, the longer more even ribbing stitches.

Thanks for posting the scarf/hat patterns...I was thinking the Shaker stitch would make a nice scarf for my Dad

Just finished square number four of Clue 2!! I don't think I have enough time to get one of the seven I need for clue 1 done before tomorrow so I think I will rest my fingers Plus it will give me some more time to think about whether I want to go up a needle size on my 8.75inch square for clue 1 or just block it out.

I have made quite a few sweaters that I wear. I have never made one with careful attention to guage though, and this is especially important when making clothes!

Funny! I have learned to pay attention to gauge, because of being plus-sized. It's hard to find nice clothes in my size that I can afford. So, now that I knit, I'm enjoying making things that I KNOW will fit. And Bernat is one of the only yarn companies that always includes instructions all the way up to size 5X! Woo Hoo!

My first sweater I did for my Mom...did not check gauge...BIG mistake...literally!! I pinned it together and realized it was too big!! I had to go down two needle sizes
Learned my lesson and now I always check!

Ugh! I just started clue #2 last night. I got clear up to row 19 and my phone rang. I put my knitting down to answer and I dropped a stitch!!! I couldn't pick it back up...so out it comes, and I was doing so well with this stitch.
