Crochet-Along Clue 3: Spoilers and Photos

Would much rather be crocheting. Whereas I can sneak in a look at the forum at work in between my other stuff, I cannot just pull out my yarn and start until lunch.

So sad!
But, I know how you feel. I worked on Clue 3 a little last night, because I knew I wouldn't be able to touch it today. Too busy answering all the questions here in the forum. But, I don't mind. I like you guys.

I tried asking this on the original Clue 3 post but no one is answering

On the chart, it looks like there is a sc in between the points for Round 4 which would be a sc in the 3rd round sc but there is nothing about it in the written directions.

it does say to skip 2 dc then sc in the next. i did look at the chart to make sure i read it right. this one looks fun.

I ended up doing an extended double crochet in rounds 6 and 7 to get it to match the size of my clue 2 motifs.

i just looked again. looks like the ** are in the wrong place on the text part. but i could be wrong. i am going by the chart

Well, after finishing the row where we put the points on I ended up with 9, so had to rip it all out. Then it was fairly smooth sailing from there. I used both written and graph to help figure it out the first time and prayed for the correct gauge. Once finished I laid it out on my template and took a photo. As you can see the size is just perfect!
I really really enjoyed this clue and think I will make it in place of last weeks for my second CAL.
