This means do just what is in the parenthesis two times.

which chain do you skip though? do you skip the sc or the ch before

Look at the chart, and you will see how the stitches line up. The chart helps a LOT with this clue.

Wow, this one is going to be challenging for me. I've always done patterns with very basic instructions. Glad there are videos and the forum for if I get stuck. :scared:

Question for admin:

On the 4th round, in the next to last line, it says "1 sc in the next dc," which is how you kind of tie off that stretch that goes around the point. Shouldn't it be 1 sc in the next SC? That is how it looks on the diagram.

I have a question about 4th round

Postby dsegel » Wed Feb 29, 2012 11:53 am

:helpme:

The chart seems to indicate a sc in the sc from round 3 between the points but I don't see that in the written instructions?

Hurry, please! :)

:hellogoodbye: This motif looks like fun. I am getting the crochet clues done each week. I think of myself as being more of a knitter than a crocheter (sp?). Yet, I am able to get the crochet motifs done each week, but not the knit squares. Well tonight when I get home I have lots of choices to work on! :knit:

in round 4, after you do the 3ch to go around the point you will do a sc in next sc, then, chain 1, then skip the hdc and sc in next dc.

so you're right, you do one sc in the next sc, but it's written in the pattern that way:
"Ch 3.Working across opposite side of point, 1 sc in next sc. Ch 1.
Miss next hdc. 1 sc in next dc."
