No, you are fine. Kaleigh has in the 2nd paragraph of the post with the pattern that the 2 sides of the square will be totally different. Similar stitches but it will look different. Trust yourself and keep going. :)

I only have 17stitches on yet but am having a difficult time making out any texture to the block...hanging in though and hoping for a pic from someone else!

Well I started mine and went a little bit then took this picture. It doesn't look like there is any real pattern. Then as I went along I took the second picture and still don't see a definite pattern. Does it look like yours?

This is how mine looks. I told my friend it reminds me of shaker rib. But instead of rib it's shaker seed stitch!

from what I read from the pattern it seems like it will be the same on both sides

The two sides are not the same. They each have their own interesting design.

they are so pretty, mine looks the same. I thought it would be the shaker rib look again, but it's not because we are actually alternating where the stitches go with each row because of the increases. Looks lovely though. :knit:

I like this description of the pattern on this new square! It's exactly what I though of when I started reading the pattern! I can't wait to get home and start this to see what it comes out like in person.
