This last week I had to redo clue 1 coz I changed my MC.
I finished Clue 2 last night.

Just realized I forgot to post a picture of my Clue 2 (along with clue 1) motifs.

I'm using colors to match our family room sofa, but with setting them out on my bed... it matches there, too

Really loved Clue #2! Took three tries to get the right guage, ending up going to an 'I' hook.

Also love playing around with the possible layout

My fear of dropped knitting stitches is the reason I took a class on fixing mistakes. I wanted to know what to do with any problem I might encounter. That class helped me so much! It gave me the confidence to try ANYTHING with knitting.

A knitting class would be great!!! Unfortunately, we live in a very small rural town and the closest place for a class would be more than 60 miles from us. With the price of gasoline now, we make multi-purpose trips instead of recreational ones. When I come to a slow place with crochet, I could check out internet videos on knitting--know there have to be some. Thanks for the class idea which triggered the video thought!!!! I love this forum for all the ideas.

Funny thing is, I drove over 100 miles to take that class!
Every year, I go to the Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair (SAFF) in the beautiful North Carolina mountains. They offer lots of classes for knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, etc. I took the "Oops Workshop" class there, and it was only $15.

Thanks for that info--I am going to keep checking their website since I am only probably about 100 miles from Asheville. I Googled their site and have it bookmarked. Thanks again--love this forum!
